The session
GHRPC invited municipal leaders, county commissioners and community partners to a virtual session on Zoom on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The purpose: start identifying projects, discuss community priorities, and position communities for upcoming funding opportunities.
The agenda covered potential projects involving:
- Demolition and blight removal
- Water, wastewater and infrastructure
- Community facilities and improvements
- Funding opportunities and project readiness
- Preparing for the 2027 CDBG competitive grant cycle
GHRPC also planned to highlight successful CDBG projects from around the region and give communities the chance to bring forward project ideas, ask questions and start the planning process.
